Taylor Penwarden is a dedicated dental hygienist at our Midtown office. Originally from Denver, NC, she earned her degree from Western Carolina University before completing her dental hygiene training at Cape Fear Community College. She has been a hygienist for one year, and we love having her on the CarolinasDentist team! Taylor’s passion for dentistry started while working as a veterinary technician, where she performed dental cleanings on animals. That experience inspired her to pursue a career in dental hygiene, where she now enjoys educating patients on the connection between oral and systemic health. Outside of work, Taylor spends most of her free time with her three rescue dogs and loves learning something new every year—this year, she tackled driving a manual car and surfing!
