Mission
CarolinasDentist believes that everyone deserves quality dental care, but we realize that not everyone has equal access. We want to give back to our community by providing the uninsured and/or those experiencing financial hardship with free quality dental care.
With this in mind, we would love to invite you and your family to join us for our 6th annual free Dental Care Day! This event will take place at two of our Wilmington locations simultaneously to maximize the number of people we are able to help in the greater Wilmington area.
Whether you’re past due for a cleaning or need some restorative dental work taken care of, CarolinasDentist is here to assist. Please review our FAQ section and feel free to reach out to our team with any additional questions you may have.
Dental Care Day FAQs
Patients will be seen on a first come, first served basis. Patients will be checked in and added to the schedule as they complete their registration paperwork.
Patient registration forms will be distributed the morning of the event. Patients will need to arrive with a mobile device capable of internet access to complete their registration forms.
Patient registration will close at 1pm. While we aim to care for as many patients as possible, time constraints will prevent us from accepting anyone else after 1pm.

We plan on having Spanish-speaking interpreters available during the event, however, we cannot guarantee that an interpreter will be available for the full duration of your treatment. We encourage Spanish-speaking patients to please bring someone with them who can interpret during the entire appointment.
Due to the anticipated high volume of patients and the unpredictability of each patient’s need, we will only be able to offer cleanings, fillings, and extractions during this event.
In an effort to care for as many people as possible, we will ask patients to choose between a cleaning or treatment during their registration. The amount of treatment completed during the appointment will be at the discretion of the provider.
Providers will address patient needs on a case-by-case basis if more comprehensive treatment is needed.
We would love to care for as many of your family members as possible. Each family member will need to be registered individually prior to check-in.
We encourage patients of all ages to attend the event. We want children to have a positive experience while getting treatment, which might mean they are more comfortable in a pediatric space and/or under sedation. If one of our providers feels that this is in your child’s best interest, we will provide a referral to a local pediatric dental office.
This event is reserved for those who do not have insurance.

Los formularios de inscripción de pacientes se distribuirán la mañana del evento. Los pacientes deberán llegar con un dispositivo móvil con acceso a Internet para completar sus formularios de registro.
El registro de pacientes se cerrará a las 13 horas. Si bien nuestro objetivo es atender a tantos pacientes como sea posible, las limitaciones de tiempo nos impedirán aceptar a nadie más después de la 1 p.m.

Planeamos tener intérpretes de habla hispana disponibles durante el evento, sin embargo, no podemos garantizar que un intérprete esté disponible durante toda la duración de su tratamiento. Los proveedores abordarán las necesidades del paciente caso por caso si se necesita un tratamiento más integral.
Nos encantaría cuidar a tantos miembros de su familia como sea posible. Cada miembro de la familia deberá registrarse individualmente antes del check-in.
Animamos a los pacientes de todas las edades a asistir al evento. Queremos que los niños tengan una experiencia positiva mientras reciben tratamiento, lo que podría significar que se sienten más cómodos en un espacio pediátrico y, a veces, bajo sedación. Si uno de nuestros proveedores considera que esto es lo mejor para su hijo, lo derivaremos a un consultorio dental pediátrico local.
