Anna, originally from Raeford but born and raised in New Jersey, has been a dedicated dental hygienist at CD Raeford since 2016. She graduated from Fayetteville Technical Community College and Western Governors University. Anna is passionate about improving people’s lives through dental hygiene, focusing on educating patients about preventing gum disease and cavities to promote long-term health.
Her best hygiene tip emphasizes the importance of flossing, as it cleans areas a toothbrush can’t reach and helps prevent systemic diseases linked to oral health. Anna playfully reminds patients that hygienists can always tell if they’re not flossing.
Outside of work, Anna remains a Jersey girl at heart, cherishing her roots. She loves traveling, especially on cruises and trips to Universal Studios, and adores her teenage daughter. To aspiring hygienists, Anna advises that while school is competitive and demanding, it prepares you to be the best. She stresses the importance of ergonomics and self-care to avoid career-related physical strain.
