Dr. Alexia Dewane grew up in the beautiful state of Wisconsin, which is home to amazing natural beauty, sports and of course, its cheeses. Dr. Dewane attended undergrad at Silver Lake College at Manitowoc, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology in 2009.
After being commissioned into the US Army, Dr. Dewane supported Operation Enduring Freedom by serving as a Female Engagement Team Leader in Afghanistan in 2012. Dr. Dewane became passionate about dentistry during her deployment and, upon her return to the United States, joined the Army Reserves.
Dr. Dewane pursued further education, graduating from Portland, Maine’s University of New England College of Dental Medicine with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). Upon graduation, she re-entered active duty service and was stationed at Ft. Liberty, North Carolina.
Dr. Dewane prioritizes creating a welcoming and comfortable environment to develop trusting relationships with her patients. Since Dr. Dewane values open communication, she makes sure that every patient is aware of their options for treatment and actively participates in their oral health journey.
Dr. Dewane loves to spend time with her husband, twin toddlers, and two dogs when she isn’t in the office. Her interests include spending family time outdoors and gardening.
